True dry erase posters
36*48 are expensive and come with low tack adhesive back which you can use or
not (don't peel the backing off):
5/$270 shipped
20/$933 shipped
There are a couple of
cheaper alternatives:
1. Use gloss laminate and hand pick the dry erase markers that
work with it:
5/$167 shipped
20/$412 shipped
(Many dry erase markers
work, some don't. So test some. Generally, if you wait until completely dry,
the whole thing can be cleaned up with rubbing alcohol)
2. Print on display
board (24pt - thick) then laminate with dry erase film (these
are not sticky back)

Mike,
Your quote looks good, but I have a couple of questions re the order.
First, we only need it printed on one side. Please provide pricing for one
side, all other details the same.
And, the price you provided in your quote includes the
shipping. Is that correct?
Second, do you have a dealer packet with samples that we can use with our customers.
Third: What is the turnaround time once you have the order?
Fourth: What is the price of artwork if you do it? It is a
horizontal 2015 calendar with the customer logo and address at the top. If we
do the artwork, what format do you accept? Do you have a page with artwork
specs?
Thank you for your assistance.

1. Wonderful - take
$205 off all the prices for 1 side print. I guess I wrote 2 sides by mistake.
The prices are good all September, we don't have access to poster sales beyond
that point. And the prices do include ground ship to your zip.
2. We do have tons of
sample packs, some items have our name on them, but there is plenty
in their
that is not branded with our name. We can send several.
3.
This is not a fast turn item, for sure. This involves 2 of our
facilities. Poster print is 4 to 5 days.
Lamination is probably 3 days. Then ground ship from
Ohio is probably another 4 days. We have many items that don't need
to go through Ohio and have very fast turns.
4. Re. layout, if you
want to go here:
http://www.timeanddate.com/calendar/?year=2015&country=1
I believe the
output is vector if you print and save as pdf.
There are 3 buttons
along the top with customization: quick design, formatting, more options with
drop down menus.
Play around with that
and see if you come up with something you like.
OK?

biggest material concerns are dust and dirt protection). I do however believe
that the options you suggested will work as well depending on cost, so a price

possible. I apologize for the hassle but I am slightly new to the sign

We
print right onto our materials with a flatbed printer. After coro comes foam core in price and
then sintra pvc. Sintra is a bit more expensive,
but is smooth and lasts a long time. All these are 1/8" to

I

Thanks. So you have 1 art file and you
want 200 copies made with dry erase laminate? If so, we have 2
cheaper options and 1 not so cheap option.
Cheap:
1 side dry erase laminated
posters printed on poster paper (100# gloss text, like brochure paper)
2
sided dry erase laminated posters printed on poster paper (100#
gloss text, like brochure paper)
Not so cheap:
Dry erase laminated posters
with low tack sticky back
Please let me know if
this is about right and preview your art so we can see how best to
print it.

Hello!
Thanks for the positive
feedback. From here on out, I can handle the ordering and invoicing.
Just send an email when you are ready to go. We'll figure out file transfer and
invoicing at that time.
The turn on
these is 3 to 5 business days in hands.
Thanks!

Good morning!
I believe you want
"1 side dry erase laminated posters printed on poster paper

about 8 to 12 business days in hands. Let me know if that won't work.

Great, that should work.
Secondary question, I want to have a
magnetic board attached to a wall and then have four large magnets that have
a dry erase poster (calendar) on the front so that I can move
them around. Does that make sense? Would that be possible to do? Please let me
know, thanks!

I would have to purchase the magnetic

I've been trying to
work my way to your project since you emailed earlier this week.
I believe you wanted
this product:
1
side dry erase laminate
200 16x20 on 100# gloss
text $498
Unfortunately those
take 8 to 12 business days since we print then laminate.
We have others that are
much more expensive that we could get to you by then.
I will see about
rushing the print portion. And since you need 120 of two pieces of art, the
price will go up a bit.
Your proofs are
attached.

Guess what though - I
don't think you need true dry erase for those prints. For the up
arrow one you would just keep filling the arrow up over time towards your goal.
For the piece with the boots on it, you don't really need
to erase the previous boot out either.
Let me price that out
for you. All you need is something that won't allow a marker to go
through the poster and not color the wall behind it.
I'll get back to you.
Thanks,

Katharina:
We're quoting 600
8.25x11.5 pieces printed both sides on 3mm pvc with dryerase laminate
on 1 side and ship. We come up with $2544. The product would be about 125pt
thick.
PVC is printed
on wide format printers, 4mm coroplast would be
cheaper; but the surface of coroplast isn't very
smooth. Foam core would cost about the same; but gets dinged to easily.
There are other
approaches to print these (laser or offset press) that would be cheaper; but
the thickness would end up being only around 20pt to 30pt. Let us know if you
are open to that.
Let us know your
thoughts so we can solve your puzzle appropriately.

Katharina:
Making
progress here. An option would be for us to print two 16pt pieces, 8.5x11,
on one side each, then stick them together and add dry eraselamination to one side.
That would cost about
$980 shipped for 600 pieces and they would be about 35pt to 40pt thick. A
credit card is 30pt.
If that doesn't work
for you then we would just print a 16pt piece and laminate one side with dry erase,
but it wouldn't be very sturdy.
Let me know your
thoughts at this point.
Thanks,
|

Mike,
That sounds pretty
good. Would you be able to send me a sample of that before I place the bulk
order?
Thanks
|
Sep 22 |

There's always
something! This cheaper route relies on offset press to do the printing and
those runs are really large (500 pieces and up), so we could only approximate
that with a laser run or with different offset art. Are you open to that? What
are your concerns - maybe that will help me tailor a
proof for you?
Let me know,
|
Sep 22 |

|
My boss will not let me
place an order of 600 pieces without him having a sample in his hand. We can
pay extra for the sample once we place the order but I can't place the order
without being able to see the sample to see how thick it is and the
lamination on it
|
Sep 22 |
|

|
We would just print
from a laser and the rest would be the same. Let me make sure we can do that
for you.
Thanks,

see the quality, thickness, finish on the poster that would be great. I'm sure
you can print our images on there so that I don't need a sample of.

, and bleed all the way
around
2. 3 mil gloss on both
sides is perfect
3. You do not need to
trim them to the edge, a clear ring of plastic around them is just
fine.
4. My client will be
using them as if they are dry erase boards

I would be happy too get quotes for you. Here's some things I need to refine
your quote:
1. Can you preview the
art so I can see how best to print it?
2. Do you want 3 mil
gloss both sides (thatis the most common). Other
types are matte (good for tradeshows where the lighting is really
high) and velvet soft touch.
3. Do you want a clear
ring of plastic around the edges (called edge seal) or do you want the laminate
to be cut off at the edges (flush cut)
4. What will this be
used for? We also have completely synthetic stocks that don't need lamination
at all.
Let me know so I can get
you the best quote.
Thanks,
